Deep AKIHABARA (1)

Now akihabara is known as electronic, computer, anime, hobby goods. But akihabara is based on the black market after the war. The shop which sell vacuum tubes, radio goods and electrical items is the akihabara. Today I'll show you Deep AKIHABARA. Please enrich your akihabara's life.

This is Akihabara Radio Center which is near the electronic town entrance, under the sobu line. It consists of a lot of shops.

This is the entrance of Deep AKIHABARA. Akihabara Radio Center was established in 1949. You can back in the good old akihabara there. 

Micro TV (TV5-303). It was world's smallest and lightest portable TV at that time. It is priced at only 15,000 yen. But it is broken :D

Sky Sensor 5950. This is portable radio produced by SONY. Amazingly, it is cassette recorder-equipped portable radio. It is only 4.6 kg (weight). You can begin muscle training by using it. Just 44,800 yen. Best Price!!

Oscillator (SO-11S). It was produced by SANWA. Oscillator is an electronic circuit that produces a repetitive elect...blar blar blar. Point is, we need it in fixing a radio. Only 19,500 yen.

At the end, how about cute T-shirt? They said it's a specialty of akihabara. Tasty cow carriage is printed on it. It costs 1,500 yen. It's very reasonable :D

AKIHABARA is know as a Electric Town all over the world. It is called AKIBA. A crazy amount of Electronic, Computer, Game, Anime, Otaku goods are sold at the AKIBA. It’s the epitome of a tourist trap. :D

This is Yodobashi-Akiba. It has 9 stories above ground and 6 below. From cameras to computers to home electronics such as televisions and refrigerators to otaku goods are sold at there. It's AKIBA's landmark.

This is AKIHABARA GAMERS. It has 8 stories above ground. It is one of the most famous Otaku shop. A lot of games, anime goods, toys are sold at there.

AKIHABARA is based on the black market after WW2. Vacuum tubes, radio goods and electrical items were sold at that time. Of course, even now we can buy those items at AKIBA.

You can buy several PC parts cheaply on the streets.
